re: Business License and Illegal Operations for the Santa Barbara Luxury Beach getaways
There are hundreds of vacation rentals in the City of Santa Barbara, but another thing that sets us apart is that we are located in the Coastal Zone and have a business license to operate as a “Vacation Rental - Coastal”. The City recently announced that it will be shutting down short term rentals in the upcoming months. We have a "Vacation Rental - Coastal" Business License to operate in the city of Santa Barbara as we are situated in the legal coastal zone and pay transient occupancy taxes. We urge you to be wary when booking and consider the possibility that alternative vacation rentals may not be up and operating for your stay, if they are not licensed.

We’ve created this website to provide direct bookings to save you from any additional third-party fees. As your experience is our highest priority, we hope that you continue to choose us for your upcoming getaways.
CAN YOU GUARANTEE THAT I WILL GET THE PROPERTY THAT I RESERVED AND IDENTIFIED ON THE WEBSITE?
Once your reservation is confirmed, we do not alternate properties and will provide the check-in info for Santa Barbara Luxury Beach Getaways, Ravenscroft, or Villa Salt Acres. To complete your booking, an obligatory lease will be sent to you following payment along with confirmation of the property, dates and rates selected.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
For our Luxury Beach Getaways in West Beach, Santa Barbara, our cancellation policy is moderate, where:
You can cancel up to 30 days before check-in to receive a a full refund.
If cancelled less than 3o days before check-in, the full amount for the security deposit is non-refundable unless we re-book this time period. We’ll make every attempt to re-book and can generally do so, however there is no guarantee. If we are sucessful in rebooking, there is a 10% booking adjustment fee.
If cancelled following check-in, you pay for all nights stayed, 1 additional night and 50% of the rest of the booked nights.
For Ravenscroft in Montecito, CA and Villa Salt Acres in Stonington, CT, our cancellation policy is firm, where:
Grace Period — cancel within 48 hours after the reservation to receive a full refund.
Cancel at least 90 days before check-in to receive a full refund.

WHAT IS CHECK-IN AND CHECKOUT TIME?
Check-in time is 4 PM and check out time 11 AM. If desired, you are welcome to request a late check-out at 1, for $45.
When and how will I recieve check-in information?
We'll share a complete digital welcome book following your booking confirmation and full payment of the reservation, where you can find self check-in notes, a home manual as well as special suggestions for during your stay.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOUSE RULES?
Follow these rules as be a considerate guest and avoid any complications throughout your stay,
Minimum age to rent is 21 years old.
No other guests, visitors or persons are permitted to stay overnight, other than those listed when booking, without authorization from a property manager. If approved, for our Santa Barbara Luxury Beach Getaways, there is an additional guest fee of $50/night.
Check-in: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Checkout before 11:00 AM
No parties or events
No smoking
No pets
Can we Bring our emotional support animal?
While we love pets, our properties are privately owned and therefore, not public accommodations. These pets/support animals are not protected under ADA for service animals in the State of California regarding private home rentals for periodic stays. Many of our owners and guests suffer from their own allergies or health issues and are not able to host pets on the property for their own protection.
What happens if there is an emergency during our stay?
Our properties are privately owned and unlike hotels, we are not staffed 24 by 7. In case of a fire or local emergency, please call 911. If you have an urgent maintenance matter such as a plumbing leak or are locked out of your property, please contact our on-site property manager. If you have questions during your stay or regarding your check-in, the best way is to reach us is via email. You can always text us during common business hours using the phone number provided during check-in.
Can I deliver mail to the property?
As we are primarily a short-term stay property, it is difficult to guarantee the mail service, including items that arrive before, during or after your stay. If you are staying as a monthly guest, or in one of our Estates/Villas, please let us know and we can provide you with options.
SHOULD I MAKE DINNER AND ACTIVITY reservations NOW?
It is highly recommended to make dinner and activity reservations in advance as things can fill up quickly, especially during the weekends, summer season and holidays. We also welcome you to use our concierge services to do this for you. We are here to arrange anything you might require to make your stay truly remarkable.
WHAT IS THE CLIMATE LIKE IN SANTA BARBARA AND HOW OFTEN DOES IT RAIN?
The average temperature is about 70 degrees Fahrenheit and ranges from 79 high to 65 low. Following is a website that shows the average weather and rainfall by month. Overall, we have incredible weather year around and our favorite is September through March when the skies are the clearest and the weather just perfect.
